AAMU is a unique museum, the only one in Europe entirely dedicated to the versatile, contemporary Aboriginal art from Australia. In alternating exhibitions the museum offers an intriguing view on the different movements and actual developments in this powerful art, often in combination with other contemporary, visual arts. This can vary from magnificent paintings to sculptures, tree-bark paintings, photography, video and installations by leading artists from central and northwest regions as well as the main cities.
