For the very first time, visitors can follow a chronological journey through the collection, and experience the sense of beauty and time this offers. In a sequence of 80 galleries, 8,000 objects tell the story of 800 years of Dutch art and history. Exclusive for Holland Pass holders. Save time and use the preferred partner entrance!IMPORTANT: Each Holland Pass has 1 GOLD ticket that is VALID at Rijksmuseum and all other museums and attractions included. Other Gold ticket(s) are NOT valid at Rijksmuseum. Please ensure that you do not use the Rijksmuseum gold ticket for another attraction if you intend to visit the Rijksmuseum.

    The reopening provides an opportunity for a major representation of the museum’s world-famous collection of Dutch art. The museum features three great works by Vermeer, Girl with a Pearl earring (c.1665), View of Delft (c.1660 - 1661) and Diana and her nymphs (c.1653-1654). The museum’s historic 17th century building has been renovated and upgraded to meet the needs of the 21st century visitor. alarge, well-lit foyer beneath the square will connect the museum to a building across the street, which will house a new exhibition space and auditorium. The Mauritshuis in The Hague, home of Vermeer’s masterpiece Girl with a Pearl Earring, will open on 27 June 2014 following a major renovation.
