Visit the largest Museum of Bags and Purses in the world and discover the unique collection from the 16th century to the present. In addition to the permanent, historical collection, there are also temporary exhibitions and expositions of contemporary designers on display. The museum is located in a beautiful canal house dating from 1664 and contains two period rooms from the 17th and 18th century. The museum shop offers a large collection of bags from Dutch and international designers and gift articles.

For this exhibition, the museum has been able to choose from the recent collections and even the catwalk collection of Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney. In addition, bags designed by Lulu Guinness, Paul Smith, Anya Hindmarch, Bill Amberg, and by brands such as Mulberry and Burberry will be on show. Bags from English designers and brands from the museum's own collection also complement these nicely.
